My last shoot of 2015 couldn't have been sweeter! This little gal arrived right before New Year's and her family could not have been happier! Big brother Patrick was a bit unsure of his new sister, but like most toddler boys, was easily distracted by snacks and plenty of attention from his parents. I know I say it all.the.time. but I truly love Fresh 48 sessions. Not only are the babies just perfect, the sessions are just so honest. Hoping to fill my calendar full of Fresh 48's for the New Year but for now, enjoy this precious baby girl!

What a glorious day we had for our beach session! I don't get the opportunity to do beach sessions often, so when I am able to, I jump at the chance. The bright blue sky and shimmering water was a perfect backdrop for one of my favorite families and most loyal clients. It's such a joy to photograph them every year and watch their children grow.

Another Fresh 48 in the books! My favorite type of session to shoot, and with such a wonderful family. I'd previously photographed this family's two sons as a suprise Christmas gift for their Mom, so it was very exciting to hear that they had a new baby on the way! I know they were thrilled to add a little girl to their family. Just beautiful!

Niko

I'd been waiting a long time to meet this little guy. I met his parents over the winter before they even officially announced their pregnancy. Little Niko was feeling a little defiant the day of our session, but after a while he had to succumb to la la land. I actually really love the awake shots - Niko was super alert throughout the entire session and we just went with the flow and captured some really adorable shots. Cannot wait to see these guys again in the future!

Cameron | Lifestyle Newborn

I was so excited to do this lifestyle newborn session. When Mom contacted me about newborn photos, I knew a lifestyle session would be the best bet seeing as baby Cameron was already 3 weeks old (posed newborn photos are best done within the first 14 days of life). I couldn't be happier with the images we captured. Pure and honest images of this sweet baby girl and her Mommy. I've got to get more lifestyle newborns on the schedule - it was so much fun to shoot!

Beach Sessions

The Lattanzi Family | Isla Turns One!

It's been just over a year since I first met this lovely family and I've already photographed them 4 times! It's been such a pleasure capturing sweet Isla's milestones, beginning with when she was still in her Mommy's tummy! This family radiates pure love and it's so evident in Isla. She is happy, healthy, beautiful, and so loved. I just love watching her grow and cannot get enough of her blonde curls! We started our session with some family photos and ended with a cake smash in honor of Isla's first birthday. She wasn't that into the cake but you'd never know it from the photos ;) Happy Birthday, Isla! I can't wait to see you and your family again soon!

Oh my gosh. This sweet little nearly 9 lb strawberry blonde bundle of joy. He belongs to a good friend of mine and his arrival gave me some serious baby fever!! I mean, how adorable is he? There is nothing better for me than photographing a beautiful fresh baby. I love the red cheeks, dry skin, and wrinkly little feet. Absolute perfection! Mom was looking beautiful as well after delivering her 3rd little boy in less than 4 years. She will be loved and taken care of forever.

I've been getting all the baby girls lately! It seems like there is a steady flow of girls being born, and as a Mom of two boys, I love it! It's so fun getting to use pinks and purples and bows and flowers on these little beauties. Paige was such a little doll. Born a bit early, she weighed in at 5 lbs and was perfectly petite! She was an absolute angel and slept perfectly for me. Her family was just lovely as well and I loved spending time chatting with Mom (pretty much non-stop!) through the entire session. Paige is so lucky to have a big brother too, who I know will take good care of her :)

McKenna

I am way behind on blogging seeing as how this sweet couple's little girl has already been born and photographed (by me!). Alas, I am finally getting around to showing some images from this beautiful, snowy, maternity session. It was a surprisingly mild day considering the amount of snow on the ground and these two were such troppers, especially Jillian! I kind of made them walk through knee high snow on and off for an hour... whoops! They didn't complain one bit and were totally up for the challenge (believe me, it was a challenge!!) I love the way the session turned out and am so glad I got to meet these two.

Taylor

This sweet newborn session is the follow up to the Fresh 48 I posted last week. Miss Taylor was such a good girl for me, although she resisted sleep for a little bit. But once she was asleep, she was out cold for the remainder of the session! And big sister was such a good girl as well! I loved spending time with this family again and so happy to capture such a wonderful time in their lives.

Another Fresh 48 in the books! I simply love visiting families in the hospital to capture the moments following the birth of their baby. I have been photographing this family since big sister Avery was 8 or 9 months old, so being there to capture and bear witness to these intimate moments was that much more special. It was wonderful that the grandparents were there as well, I'm sure Taylor will be happy one day to have a photo of them holding her on her first day of life. I'm photographing Taylor's newborn session next so stay tuned for those images!

One of my oldest friends got engaged over the holidays and asked me to take their engagement photos, which I was more than happy to do!
