Beach Sessions

Holy cow - we had the BEST day for our beach sessions! I teamed up with the lovely Anne Constance Photography (who is not only my friend, but my mentor) and we were thrilled with the results. We are already planning our next round of beach sessions for September. Cannot wait for more sun & sand with some beautiful families!

The DiRienzo Family

What a crew this was! 6 cousins under 6 years old - I had my hands full! These kiddos were so full of energy but so much fun. I loved capturing each of their very different personalities. What an adorable bunch!!

An Amazing Year...

I can't believe there are only hours left of 2014! I loved working with so many families over the past year. It was wonderful seeing so many families again and meeting new ones as well. This job is so rewarding and it's all because of my amazing clients. All so beautiful, both on the inside and out.

The Bachan Family

It was a chilly but beautiful day for our session. Not only we were doing annual family portraits (and Christmas card photos) but we were also documenting this sweet family's remaining time with their sick pup. I loved how their dog was such an important part of the session. Truly a member of the family! So glad to see this family again and close out my outdoor sessions for the year with them!

I met up with one of my favorite families (and one of the best looking might I add?) for a sunset session over the weekend and they did not disappoint! The girls were just as cute as can be. Styling my clients for their session is something I'm thinking of offering in the future, so I styled the youngest daughter and Mom did a great job coordinating the rest of the family's outfits! Unfortunatley the sun decided to go into hiding, but we still got some fun, snuggly shots of this affectionate crew. I just love the warmth that radiates from these photos.

My oldest and best friend has just launched a new business and I couldn't be more excited! Bows by Lolo sells hand made bows using Schiff ribbon and can be monogrammed with one or three initials in a variety of fonts. These are incredibly adorable bows and if I had a little girl of my own, she would definitely be sporting one!  They are sold on Etsy and there is also a Facebook page so please check them out!

Outdoor portrait season is officially over for 2013 - just in time too since we got about 6 inches of snow today! I'm so happy I ended the season with this incredible family. I loved everything about them. They were so much fun and wow do Mom and Dad produce some gorgeous kids! We began indoors and made our way outdoors to the park. As you can see, we went for a holiday theme and I'm so pleased with the results! I hope I see this family again in the future!

Ok - seriously. How cute are these brothers?! They were such good models. They posed and smiled and genuinely enjoyed being around each other. All in an effort to provide an amazing surprise Christmas gift to their Mama. What Mom wouldn't LOVE to receive photos of her beautiful children as a gift? I know I would! Dad did good with this one!

Oh.my.gosh. These two kiddos were seriously the BEST. You can just tell these two really love each other. I think every parent hopes that their children will be best friends as they grow up - and it's so nice to see siblings that truly enjoy being around each other and make everything an adventure! They had so much fun posing and smiling for the camera that it made my job a breeze. I had such a hard time choosing my favorite images for this blog post, because I really did love every single one.

I LOVE big families! It's not every day that I photograph a family with four children (three who could take direction - woo!) and I loved watching them interact. The children were so adventerous and up for anything - even climbing trees! And I loved how sister Ella kept up with her older brothers and climbed into a tree for her own portrait. I had so much fun photographing this bunch and hope to get the chance to do so again in the future!
