I am way behind on blogging seeing as how this sweet couple's little girl has already been born and photographed (by me!). Alas, I am finally getting around to showing some images from this beautiful, snowy, maternity session. It was a surprisingly mild day considering the amount of snow on the ground and these two were such troppers, especially Jillian! I kind of made them walk through knee high snow on and off for an hour... whoops! They didn't complain one bit and were totally up for the challenge (believe me, it was a challenge!!) I love the way the session turned out and am so glad I got to meet these two.

January is such an unpredictable month to shoot outdoors, so when this gorgeous mama-to-be contacted me for her maternity session, I wasn't sure what to expect. We got so lucky! It was overcast, however it was not terribly frigid and there was absolutely no wind. We flew through the session and I'm just loving the results! I also worked with them on styling their wardrobe for the session and I think they coordinated just perfectly! I love the wine color that flows through each of their outfits. It adds just enough pop and is lovely for warming up a winter session. 

I can't believe there are only hours left of 2014! I loved working with so many families over the past year. It was wonderful seeing so many families again and meeting new ones as well. This job is so rewarding and it's all because of my amazing clients. All so beautiful, both on the inside and out.

I had such a ball with these two! Areti has just finished the 1st trimester of her pregnancy, so this session was a hybrid pregnancy announcement/maternity session. The session took place a few weeks ago but I've been keeping the blog under wraps until Areti made her official announcement :) They were so sweet and adorable and the backdrop of the snow was the perfect touch for a wintry feel for the session. 

I loved hanging out with these two during their maternity session. We had an absolutely gorgeous Fall day. They are so excited to welcome their baby girl in December. I am so grateful to have been able to capture such a special time for them! Their happiness is contagious!

Sometimes you meet someone new and it just clicks. That's how I felt after meeting this incredibly sweet and kind couple over the weekend. They are expecting their first baby in just a few weeks and they were literally glowing (both of them!). Courtney was simply gorgeous (and totally Lea Michele's doppleganger - right?!) The love they share for each other was palpable and I think it translates into each and every photo from the session. I am so excited to see them again in a few weeks once their baby girl arrives!

My best friend Lauren and I decided to head out with our kiddos this past week to walk a beautiful local trail and snap some maternity photos along the way. Lauren is due with her second baby girl in just over a week so it was time to capture her final days of pregnancy. The foliage was bright and beautiful and Lauren was glowing. Her sweet daughter, Annabelle, hopped in for a few photos as well. I am so excited to meet the new babe!!

I was joined by another lovely family for the Fall minis. The Azzari's are family friends so I was so happy to have the opportunity to photograph them - and at such a special time in their lives! Mom is pregnant with their 3rd child (another boy!). We had a great time and I was so glad to be able to sneak in some maternity shots as well.

This family happens to live a few houses down from me and not only are they great neighbors, but their daughter, Ellie, is also a playmate of Jack (yes, he has many adorable girl friends!). Ellie has the greatest disposition, which she clearly gets from her parents. I loved spending time with them and photographing a milestone in their lives... Nikki is due with baby #2 in less than a month!

You would never know that it was a cold December day by these photos!  It was so much fun photographing Brooks & John, who are expecting their first baby at the end of January. She’s 33 weeks and all belly – and was game for everything!  Such a lovely couple and such an exciting time in their lives…
