This gorgeous family took part in my Fall minis. With 19 month old super active twins, Mom and Dad had their hands full, but still managed to be impeccably dressed and appear calm, cool & collected. Zoe and James were full of energy and curiosity, as all 19 month olds should be, and I so enjoyed meeting them and spending time with them on a beautiful Saturday morning.

I spent Sunday morning with this lovely family. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, which was a nice surprise since the forecast had called for rain. Our photo session was marking Brennan's first birthday. Unfortunately, the little guy missed his morning nap, so he took a little time to warm up. As soon as we let him go explore and play, he was as happy as could be! Sometimes you just have to let kids be kids and not worry so much about everything being perfectly posed. Judging by the smile on Brennan's face, I think he agreed!

This adorable little gal was SO much fun. She was sweet and outgoing from the very beginning - nailing every pose before I could even get the words out of my mouth. I just loved her confidence and carefree spirit. She even told me that I was fun... boy, did that feel good! There's something about being with children that brings the inner child out of you. This session really was a blast!

This little guy had me under his spell with the first flash of his smile. He just loved running around the arboretum, checking everything out. I'm not sure I have ever encountered a 19 month old with such a pleasant disposition. There was no sign that the "terrible twos" are just around the corner!  I had so much fun photographing this sweetie with his mama - a real treat on an otherwise hum drum Monday morning!

Saturday morning was my favorite kind of morning. Very cool and fall-like. I drove to Ringwood to meet up with this fun foursome for some family photos. I photographed Matt and Shane back in April, and it's amazing to see how much they have grown in such a short time. Shane is so close to walking now and does the cutest little crawl. Matt took a little warming up, but we sang plenty of songs, and then he was ready to roll - flashing that sweet smile with those adorable dimples! I really enjoyed this session and seeing this family again!

Labor Day weekend here in NJ was pretty much a bust. Rain and humidity ruled the weekend... though we did get a nice break of sunshine on Monday, just in time for my session with this family at their reunion! It was great fun photographing them at their home while they enjoyed spending time together. The reunion also served as a send off for the lovely gal in the first photo, who is headed to Paraguay for a year with the Peace Corps! I'd say that is a reason to celebrate!

I was thrilled when I arrived to my session on Monday morning and the sun was coming out, since the weather had forecasted rain all day. I knew Baby Stephan's momma wanted to do our newborn session outdoors, and since the weather held out, that's what we did! At one month old, Stephan was so well behaved. It took a little coaxing to get him to sleep, but it was all worth it to see him curled up like a little angel. We followed the newborn session with some family photos in their garden. Big Brother Matt even harvested a huge zucchini!

I spent a gorgeous Sunday morning with this lovely family. Their two sweet girls were all smiles from the moment we met, so I knew it was going to be a fun session! They did not disappoint and were such troopers - posing and smiling for over an hour. Of course I think I would be in a good mood too if I got to wear a tutu and frolic around...

Two years ago today, my life changed forever when my sweet Jack was born. Over the past 24 months, Jack has developed into the sweetest, most funny, rebellious, stubborn, athletic and loving little boy. He has taught me so much in such a short time, and allowed me to feel the deepest love I have ever known. Anyone who knows Jack, knows that he has a HUGE heart. He will be the first one to give you a hug and kiss... and then proceed to steal your shoes.
